Roger Frazier

Conservation Consultant

Roger Frazier is a lifelong outdoorsman and dedicated conservationist. He is co-owner and operator of Sustainable Conservation Solutions LLC and currently works as a DU Conservation Consultant. Prior to becoming a private conservation consultant, he completed a 36-year career with the Missouri Department of Conservation. Over this period, he served in numerous roles and retired as the Community & Private Land Conservation Unit Supervisor. Roger spent over half his career assisting landowners with habitat management and collaborating with partners to move the conservation needle in a positive direction. For these efforts the Missouri Department of Conservation awarded Roger the Private Land Services Employee of the Year award in 2015 and the Tricia R Radford Team award in 2019. The Missouri Invasive Plant Task Force also recognized the passion he exhibited for conservation and selected him as the 2020 Invasive Plant Action Award for Professionals recipient.

Roger says one of his objectives in life is to advance conservation in a way that allows current and future generations an opportunity to use and enjoy our incredible natural resources.

As an avid outdoorsman Roger enjoys hunting, fishing, and trapping with friends and family. He has pursued ducks, deer, and turkeys for more than 40 years and small game species longer than that. Although he cherishes the harvest, his passion is fueled by the pursuit.

Roger enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer and their son Eli on property they own in Southeast Missouri. He says one rewarding gift in his life has been the opportunity to watch his son develop a passion for the wonders of nature.
